Auction Details Register New to Placer Auctions? Get started by registering for an account . This allows you to explore our entire catalog, stay updated on upcoming sales, and manage your bids in real-time. Preview Most items are available for in-person preview up to 24 hours before the auction closes at our Roseville, CA location. To schedule a preview appointment, simply contact us . This is your chance to inspect items firsthand and confirm their condition before bidding. Soft Close At 7:00 PM on the day the auction closes, each lot will begin to close at a rate of 2 per 30 seconds . If someone places a bid on an item that is about to close, bidding on that individual item will be extended by 60 seconds . The timer will continue to extend until bidding activity stops. An item closes when the timer hits zero. If you can't watch the auction as it ends, set your MAX BID on items you’re interested in. By setting your max bid, the system incrementally bids up to your limit. Set it and forget it!
