Description
A Chinese porcelain figure depicting an emperor or high-ranking official from the Qing Dynasty. These figures are often referred to as "famille rose" or "wucai" style porcelain, known for their vibrant, hand-painted colors and intricate details. The figurine is crafted in a polychrome or famille rose style, characterized by a soft color palette, particularly the use of a pink enamel derived from colloidal gold. It portrays an emperor or a high-ranking mandarin, identifiable by the elaborate robes, official hat with a topknot, and a long beaded necklace (court necklace or chaozhu), holding what appears to be a small fan or tablet. Good condition.
