Description
Alaskan ulu knife set from The Ulu Factory. The ulu (pronounced "oo-loo") is a traditional, versatile curved cutting tool used by Indigenous Alaskan people for thousands of years. The set includes a curved stainless steel blade and a stand/chopping board, often made with wood like birch. The knife is made in Alaska and the blade is sharpened on only one side in the traditional fashion. The unique design increases dexterity and leverage, making it suitable for various kitchen tasks like chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and filleting fish. The Ulu Factory is located in Anchorage, Alaska. Good condition.
