Description
A vintage Victorian-style "balloon" or "dome top" birdcage, made of wire and wood, with a distressed white or ivory finish. These cages were popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and are often used today as decorative items for homes or gardens. The cage exhibits classic Victorian aesthetic movement details, characterized by its elaborate scrollwork and a large, rounded, balloon-like wire dome top. It is predominantly constructed from wire and wood, specifically wrought iron wire and a painted wood base. The cage has a tiered base, a hinged top or side door, and a chain for hanging.
