Description
A Chinese porcelain statue depicting a Qing Dynasty court official or emperor. These figures were often created as decorative export items, in the mid-to-late 20th century, drawing inspiration from traditional imperial attire. It is hand-painted in vibrant enamel colors, often described as famille rose or wucai style, featuring a detailed dragon motif on the robe. The figure is shown wearing an "Imperial Yellow" robe, an elaborate hat indicative of rank, and a chaozhu (court necklace). It is also holding a ruyi scepter, a symbol of good fortune. Good condition.
