Description
This set of four vintage egg cups was made by Hornsea Pottery in England and features the iconic “Heirloom” pattern, stamped Hornsea England 1973 on the base. Designed by John Clappison in 1966, the geometric motif was created using a calligraphic pen and ink technique and is a hallmark of mid-century modern British design. Each piece features the classic olive green (“Lakeland Green”) glaze with black interlocking shapes, characteristic of Hornsea’s 1970s tableware aesthetic. Dimensions: H: 1.5" × W: 2" each. Condition: Good.
