Description
A mid century modern turned wood table lamp with a beige empire hardback shade. The lamp base features a sculptural, turned wood design with prominent, swirling wood grain visible on its surface. The form is characterized by stacked, rounded, or gourd-like sections, which is typical of Mid-Century Modern and Danish Modern designs from the 1960s and 1970s. The finish is a warm, rich brown tone, which could be walnut, teak, or a similar hardwood. The top of the base connects to a standard brass-finish harp and socket assembly. The accompanying lampshade is a classic empire shape (wider at the bottom than the top) with a hardback construction. It is covered in a textured, off-white or beige linen-style fabric. H: 27" | W: 24.5" | L: 12.5" Good condition.
