About Placer Auctions

Placer Auctions is a family-run auction house in Roseville, California, built on a simple belief: good things deserve a next chapter. The sterling that came out for holidays, the mid-century chair someone saved up for, the toolbox a grandfather filled over a lifetime — our job is to find each of them the person who will love them next.

That’s why we treat every consignment like it matters, because to somebody it does. We photograph each item carefully, research and catalog it honestly — flaws included — and put it in front of a community of local bidders who show up because they trust what they see. Over 45,000 items have found new homes this way, across 500+ auctions, with 25,000+ local bidders.

Bidding costs nothing to try: registration is free, and you’re only charged if you win. Set a max bid and the system bids for you; a last-second bid adds time to the clock, so nobody gets sniped. Winning bids carry a 20% buyer’s premium plus 7.75% California sales tax, paid by card through secure checkout, with local pickup at our Roseville warehouse and shipping available.

Selling? Whether it’s one piece or a whole estate, we handle everything — and we’ll walk you through commission and what you’ll net at your free consultation.
