Description
This early 20th-century Chinese porcelain figurine depicts the Yongzheng Emperor of the Qing Dynasty (reigned 1722–1735) and is associated with the Fujian Province Association. The piece features Qing Dynasty stamps on the bottom and is hand-painted with a multi-colored glossy enamel glaze in the wucai style. The emperor is shown standing in a formal pose, dressed in an elaborate yellow robe—a color historically reserved for the emperor—adorned with intricate patterns including a roundel on the chest and wavy designs near the base. He wears a traditional black hat and has a finely painted mustache and beard. Around his neck hangs a string of court beads, and in his hands, he holds a lingzhi or ruyi scepter, symbolizing good fortune and authority. Good condition.
