Description
Papago Native American Hand-Woven Basket. This basket was made by a woman of the Papago Tribe of Southern Arizona. Baskets like this one are constructed using the native plant life of the reservation, and include strands of beargrass, yucca, yucca root, and devil's claw. Cat-tail is also utilized in some baskets to give it a distinctive golden color. The basket also features a hand-woven lid, and together the basket and the lid measures approximately 6" Ø x 5". This item is in good condition, and comes with an informative tag.
