Description
Set of two ceramic Hakata Mimasu Dolls. Features a smiling old man with saw and toolbox; this piece has very sharp metal points and the bottom is marked "Made in Japan" and still has the original sticker on the bottom which reads "Hakata Mimasu Dolls, Japan". The other doll is an old man holding a rope, with the rope being made of rope material (not ceramic); this piece is not marked on the bottom. Each figure measures approximately 8"H, 8"W, 7"D. Besides some light fading of the paint, these dolls are in good vintage condition.
