Description
Antique "Papillon" by Victor Rosseau Early 20th Century Sculpture. This antique bronze cast sculpture was made by well-known Belgium-born artist Victor Rosseau, who is most known for his detailed bronze, busts, statues, and public monuments. One of his most well-known works is a public memorial located in London, England, honoring England's acceptance of Belgian refugees during WWII. This sculpture depicts a winged angel with a butterfly net, catching butterflies. The bronze statue is bolted to a spun wooden base, and measures approximately 13" tall with its base. This item is in good condition.
