Description
Large reproduction oil painting of "A Friday at the Salon Des Artistes Francais" by Karl Von Shmit. The artist's signature is on the painting in the lower righthand corner. The oil painting is on canvas and is framed with a wire attached to the back for hanging. The frame features decorative bronze colored accents. The frame has slight damage in the upper right hand corner, otherwise this piece is in great condition. Measures 44" tall and 56" long. The original artist is Jules-Alexandre Grun, who painted the original piece in 1911. The painting is a unique illustration of Paris society in the Belle Epoque.
