Description
U.S. Frigate "Constitution" Framed Sketch w/Wood Chip from Captain's Bed. Framed with glass with a wire on the back for hanging. Frigate "Constitution", also known as USS Constitution or Old Ironsides, is a three-masted wooden-hulled heavy frigate of the US Navy and the world's oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat. Built at Hartt's Shipyard in Boston, Massachusetts, this warship was launched on 10/21/1797 and was one of six original frigates authorized for construction by the Naval Act of 1794.
