Description
This is a lot of vintage R KPM Krister gilded teacups and soup bowls. Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur was founded in 1831 by Carl Franz Krister, and quickly became one of the leading porcelain manufacturers in Europe. After the end of WWII, the original company was taken over by Polish authorities and nationalized, leading to the brand being phased out in the 1990s. The marks on these pieces refer to the legal successor factory of KPM in the Rhineland-Palantinate region from between 1952-1965. These pieces feature an ivory white coloring with gilded rims and handles. The teacups measure approximately 3.75” in diameter and 2.25” tall, and the soup bowls measure approximately 5” in diameter and 2” tall. All items in this lot are in good condition.
