Description
This is a vintage globe that was manufactured by Rand McNally. This globe features markings that indicate the populations of major cities, elevations in feet, and distances in statute miles. This globe is out of date, as there are countries shown that no longer exist, such as the Union of Sovereign Soviet Republics, Belgian Congo, Rhodesia, and East and West Germany. The globe comes with multi-axis meridians mounted on a spun brass base, and measures approximately 12” in diameter and 16” tall. This item is in good condition.
