Description
This is an antique sculpture of a pair of cranes perched on rocks that was made in Japan, possibly during the Meiji period. This statue is made from cast bronze, and features intricate hand-sculpted details such as feathers and wrinkles in the feet. The statue depicts two cranes, with the smaller crane looking up at the larger crane which is “craning” its neck towards the smaller crane while perched on rocks. The statue features a natural patina, and measures approximately 6.25” x 6.5” x 10.5”. This statue is in good condition.
