Description
This is an Asian hand-made basket that features wood and brass construction with a carved leaf motif on its sides and on its lid. This basket features an swiveling handle, and a brass clasp for securing the lid of the box. The lid also hinges on brass hardware, and two fabric strips hold the lid from falling backwards. The leaves and branches on the sides and top of the basket are real, and are glued and varnished onto the surface of the basket. The basket measures approximately 7” x 7” x 9”, and is in good condition.
