Description
The bust is carved from a solid piece of gray stone, and features intricate detailing on the hair, face, and clothing. The side of the bust features the artists signature on the left side neat the bottom, and reads “ONSEM”. This could refer to Onsem Matinya, a well-known African sculptor known for creating sculptures and busts from stone. This bust is very heavy, and measures approximately 10” tall. This bust is in good condition.
