Description
This is a vintage round mahogany lion’s paw table made by Johnson-Handley-Johnson Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Johnson-Handley-Johnson Furniture Company was a companion company to the Johnson Furniture Company, and specialized in making dining room furniture while the parent company made other kinds of furniture. The main company was active from 1908 – 1983, when it was merged with Rose Manufacturing Co. This round lion’s paw table is named for its round table top and three feet that are carved to resemble a lion’s paw. The table also features a tripod design. This table measures approximately 36” in diameter and 29” tall, and is in good condition.
