Description
This lot contains a fine ivory porcelain teapot in the shape of an elephant that is dressed in circus garb. Made by Lenox, the elephant has its trunk raised, and features gilded tusks and toes. The clothing of the elephant also features gilded decorations like tassels and jewels. The lid of the teapot features a shape similar to a pagoda, and the tall of the elephant forms the handle of the teapot. The teapot measures approximately 9” x 3.5” x 7.5”, and is in good condition.
