Description
Encyclopaedia Britannica First Edition 1768 Replica Set. This three-volume reproduction was recreated for Britannica's 200th Anniversary Celebration. The publishers worked hard to produce an almost exact replica indistinguishable from the first edition (which was published in 1768-1771) including the original text, 160 copperplate engravings and natural age spots and watermarks on the pages. Comes with a letter from Britannica Home Library Service describing the manufacture of the replica edition
