Description
The Citroen 2CV, or "deux chevaux" was an economy car produced by the French company Citroen from 1948 to 1990, and is considered one the most famous cars to come out of France. The 2CV was designed as an affordable vehicle for farmers thanks to its utilitarian construction, innovative engineering, simplicity of maintenance, and minimal fuel construction. But because of these attributes, it also became incredibly popular in cities as well. This is a special edition 1:18 scale model of the Citroen 2CV made by Maisto, and features a die cast construction with an off-white enamel paint. The interior features cloth seats, and the car also has steerable front wheels and a working suspension. The model measures approximately 8.25" x 3.25" x 3.5", and is in fair condition due to one of the headlights being missing.
