Description
This is a necklace and matching set of earrings made from serpentine stone. Serpentine is a deep green crystal made of hydrated magnesium silicate, seldom blotched or splattered, similar to a snake or serpent's skin. The typical physical characteristics of this gemstone are its greenish color, enhanced appearance, and light texture. The necklace is made from several serpentine beads, and has a screw-clasp for fastening the necklace closed. The matching earrings are cut into a rectangular shape, and are fastened to silver frames. The necklace measures approximately 25” long, and the earrings measure approximately 1.5” x 0.5” x 0.5”. Each item in this lot is in good condition.
