Description
The Spartus Spartaflex was a twin-lens reflex camera made in Chicago Ill, around the late 1940s to early 1950s and priced at $27.50 with flash in 1949. It uses readily available 120 film, and takes 12 6×6 pictures per roll. The built-in lens has a focal length between 90-100mm, and an adjustable aperture between f:1/7.7 and f:1/22 with four stops. This camera also features a look-down viewfinder for shooting the camera from the waist, much like a Rolleiflex. Lastly, there is a flip-up viewfinder on the side of the camera for shooting landscape photos. The camera also comes with a Kodak Rotary Flash Holder Type 1, a few spare bulbs, a spare reflector, and a small carrying case for other equipment. The entire kit comes with a faux-crocodile skin carrying case. The camera itself measures approximately 3” x 4” x 4.75”, and is in good condition.
