Description
Offered here is the May 7th 1945 Edition of the Cleveland News. Also known as the "V-E Edition" this newspaper announced the surrender of Germany and the end of WWII in Europe. While the war would go on until August of that year, this marked the beginning of the end for the Axis Powers. This newspaper comes in a protective foamcore sleeve, and measures approximately 24" x 17". The newspaper is yellowed with age, and is in fair condition due to some rips and tears.
