Description
Released in the 1950s from Western Stamping Co. of Jackson, Michigan, the Tom Thumb Cash Register allowed children to play cashier and tabulate pretend sales transactions. This toy cash register is able to ring up sales on a mechanical display like a real cash register, and has 9 buttons for different monetary denominations and a “no sale” button. The cash register also has a dedicated button for opening the spring-loaded register. The register is painted red with a polished metal face and black and white painted buttons. The toy measures approximately 7.5” x 6.5” x 7.5”, and is in good condition.
