Description
Large Metal CA Poppies on Volcanic Rock Sculpture by Bob Saxon featuring eight brass California poppies and foliage mounted on a large multicolored volcanic rock. The flowers have a dark copper tone patina. There is a small plaque on the base with artist's signature and date '77, and protective felt spots on the underside of the base. There is also a small paper attached to the underside of the base with information about the piece. It was purchased in 1977 from the Yosemite National Park Ansell Adams Gallery. Measures approximately 19" tall with 9"x 8" base. Good condition.
