Description
Metalutil Hammered Copper Cataplana with tin-lined interior. A traditional pan used in Portugal to prepare seafood dishes. The pan slow-cooks food while closed so all the flavors, armoas and nutrients are retained. Maker's sticker on the cataplana reads "Metalutil, Made in Portugal". Measures approximately 6" high when closed, with 10.5" diameter. There are two spots along the edge of the pan that can likely be cleaned. The top and bottom parts of the pan are not connected at the hinge, which is missing a piece.
