Description
Heywood Wakefield Mid Century Extendable Birch Dining Table & 4 Windsor Spindle Chairs. Heywood-Wakefield is a legacy furniture producer established in 1897 and revived in 1992, famous for its exceptional, hand-crafted solid wood mid-century modern furniture. The table and chairs are made of solid birch hardwood. There is a 12" leaf stored beneath the table on each end, that pull out and up when extension is desired. The table comes with two armchairs and two side chairs, all featuring Windsor style spindle backs. All pieces have the maker's mark stamped on the underside. The table measures approximately 48"L (72"L when fully extended) x 24"W x 29"H and the chairs 36"H x 24"W x 19.5"D. The table and seats of the chairs have incurred some water damage, and there are some scratches and scuffs present. One of the table leafs is a bit difficult to pull out. Otherwise good condition.
