Description
This custom saddle was made by Carmel Saddlery in Fresno, California. Carmel Saddlery was a producer of highly renowned and collectible saddles and other rididing implements from 1916 to sometime in the late 20th Century. This particular saddle was comissioned by Wells Fargo for the 1992 California Cattleman's Association Convention, and is numbered #2945 from Carmel Saddlery. The saddle has a butterscotch color with a tan suade leather seat and highly detailed stitching and leather embroidery. The saddle also features a sheep's fur underside and white leather stirrups, and comes with a lasso. The saddle measures approximately 28" x 26" x 37", and is in excellent condition.
