Description
Majolica Style Decorative Ceramic Cockerel & Monkey Teapot. The protrusive cockerel head forms the spout and the monkey hangs on to reins as if riding on the back, making the handle. There is a snail decorating the removable lid. Reedition of a famous Minton majolica production circa 1870. Measures approximately 6"x 11"x 5.5". There is a small chip on the snail that is barely noticable. Otherwise good condition.
