Description
These are a pair of Asian ceramic "Temple Jars" with a decorative floral pattern and a yellow glaze. Temple jars were originally used in Asia to store the remains of loved ones in temples, but were eventually used like spice jars when this style of jar came to Europe. The larger of the jars measures approximately 8" in diameter and 12.5" tall. The smaller jar measures approximately 5.5" diagram and 8" tall. Both jars are in good condition.
