Description
This is an Egyptian style figure of the Horus falcon bronze sculpture standing with wings folded over the tail, with large round eyes with raised rims, the eye markings and feathers finely engraved, remains of a square tenon on the crown for attachment of the headdress. This sculpture was cast using the lost wax method and has a brown patina. This statue was made by Loet Vanderveen, a renowned bronze sculpture artist from Holland. His signature is featured on the base of the statue. The statue measures approximately 14" long, 4" wide, and 8" tall, and is in good condition.
