Description
This is a reproduction of a poster that was made by the London North Eastern Railway and used to advertise "The Night Scotsman" overnight rail service. The original poster was designed by Russian-born artist Alexandre Alexeieff, who was best known for his pioneering animation and illustrative work. The L.N.E.R sought his innovative skills in 1931 to design this poster for the night service between London and Edinburgh. This piece measures approximately 30.25" by 24.5", and is in great condition.
