Description
Windows on the World was a complex of dining, meeting, and entertainment venues on the top floors (106th and 107th) of the North Tower (Building One) of the original World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan. This framed memorial features some of the names of the restaurant workers that perished in the September 11th 2001 Attack on the World Trade Center, and also features a cutout of an article called "The Last Days of Windows on the World" by Lisa DePaulo. The last pieces featured in this memorial frame the real drink menu from the Windows on the World prior to the Sept. 11th Attacks, and a photo of the Twin Towers seen from the Hudson River with the Brooklyn Bridge in the foreground. This piece measures approximately 31" by 27", and is in great condition.
