Description
Bruce Fairman Pottery Lustrous Glaze Drip Signed Round Vase. The vase is black with a lustrous copper/gold tone glaze that gives it a very shiny, glassy finish. The artist's signature is on the bottom. Measures approximately 7" tall with 8" diameter. Good condition. Bruce Fairman's studio is in Sacramento. The vases are handmade from white stoneware clay and finished with Bruce's signature glazes; the glazes used were developed by Fairman, and receive their unique colors and hues from the additional minerals added to the glaze. The glazes often contain gold, platinum or titanium.
