Description
Set of three Lustrous Glaze Drip Vases by Bruce Fairman, whose studio is in Sacramento. The vases are handmade from white stoneware clay and finished with Bruce's signature glazes; the glazes used were developed by Fairman, and receive their unique colors and hues from the additional minerals added to the glaze. The glazes often contain gold, platinum or titanium. The two smaller vases have bands of pink, gray and blue. The round vase has bands of gray, blue and lilac. The vases have a very shiny, glassy finish. Each vase is signed and dated by the artist. They are dated '00, '01 and '02. Measurements (in approximations): gooseneck vase 6" tall with 4" diameter; small shoulder vase 6.25" tall with 4" diameter; round vase 6.5" tall with 7" diameter. Good condition.
