Description
Large Blue & White Story Bowl by Sam Katz & Lillia Davidson. Measures approximately 5.5" tall with 14" diameter. Good condition. Sam Katz and Lillia Davidson have been carving images on porcelain pots for many years. Sam throws the pot, then Lillia and Sam stain the surface of the pot with Cobalt blue, then they carve their images into the blue (which is a process of taking away the blue), then the pot is glazed and high fired in a kiln. Both artists are strong in myth, story and dream.
