Description
Vintage Mercantile Scale, also known as a candy scale, with 2lb capacity. Heavy scale made of metal with glass panels on the front and back, with one small round window showing the inner mechanism and a larger window showing the weight. Comes with a large scoop. There is a "State of California" sticker on the scale which has torn, but indicates the scale was used by a department of the State of California. The scale measures approximately 16.5"x 16"x 9" and the scoop 11" long and with maximum depth of 3". The glass panes covering the round window have broken on both sides. Otherwise the scale is in good condition with age-appropriate wear.
