Description
Miniature sterling silver chatelaine hand mirror with a suspension ring, a repoussé back of rococo scrolls, flowers and a shell, and a cherub-head handle, marked STERLING with a maker's device and 9. Also scissors with curved steel blades and acanthus-chased handles marked STERLING HANDLE. The blades and shanks show rust, the handles have verdigris inside and the mirror glass has desilvering spots. Total weight 44 g for both, glass and steel included.
