Description
Three open salts. A matching pair of silver-tone salts by Maltby, Stevens & Curtiss Co. of Wallingford, Connecticut, with ruffled beaded rims, ring feet and gold-tone interiors, the bases marked MSC with a pictorial mark and 044, neither marked sterling. A smaller twelve-sided Webster Co. salt with a gold-tone interior, its base marked STERLING over the firm's oval maker's mark. Total mixed-material weight 40 g (1.29 troy oz) for all three salts.
