Sterling silver button hook by Geo. C. Shreve & Co. of San Francisco, with applied wirework scrolls and beading on the ball handle, a tapered shaft with a twisted section and a hooked tip. Marked GEO. C. SHREVE & CO. and STERLING with the bee mark the firm used from 1883 to 1894. Total weight 86 g (2.77 troy oz) for the complete piece.
