Description
Two oval clothes brushes with sterling silver backs and bristles. The smaller brush, by R. Blackinton & Co., has an embossed scroll border around an engraved script monogram, STERLING and sword-through-B marks, and small dents in its silver side band. The larger brush is engraved with strapwork, flowers and a central monogram cartouche and is stamped STERLING. Total weight 125 g (4.02 troy oz) for both complete brushes, including bristles and backing.
