Description
A bearded Shoulao, the Chinese longevity figure, holds a peach and pierced staff above this personal seal, accompanied by two boys. Carved from gray and honey-colored stone with detailed robe folds, it measures a recorded 3½ inches high. The underside bears reverse-cut Latin and Chinese characters with red seal-paste residue. Small pale nicks are visible at the base edge, along with a fine line whose nature is unresolved. The stone species has not been identified.
