Description
1942-S Walking Liberty half dollar in a PCGS green-label rattler holder labeled MS64. Adolph A. Weinman’s design pairs Liberty walking toward the sun with an eagle on the reverse; the issue was struck in 90% silver at San Francisco. Golden-russet toning borders the lower obverse. The holder’s upper corner is broken, and the label is torn and gouged through part of the certification number. Certification and the compromised holder’s integrity have not been verified.
