Description
Japanese kimekomi doll of a young girl with long black hair, a looped topknot tied with red paper, inset brown eyes and outstretched hands. She wears a pink and mauve crepe kimono patterned with leaves, vines and blossoms and an orange and gold brocade obi. The wooden base is brush-signed Seizan saku (made by Seizan) with a red seal; a wooden plaque lettered ワイン染 木目込人形 (wine-dyed kimekomi doll) carries a second small signature and seal.
