Description
Japanese kimekomi doll of a young girl with her hands pressed together, the yellow, orange and green plaid kimono fabric tucked into the carved grooves of the molded body, under a red brocade jacket woven with white plum blossoms on gold branches and a black obi patterned with flowers. The joined hands are covered in red crepe. Painted face with softly brushed brows, downcast eyes and a small red mouth, framed by long black hair with bangs and a topknot tied with red ribbon and pink cord. The wooden base is brush-signed Seizan (晴山) with a red seal.
