Description
English-language Pokémon TCG Articuno, Wizards Black Star Promo #22, issued by Wizards of the Coast in 2000 as a theater giveaway for Pokémon: The Movie 2000 (The Power of One). This is the illustrator-credit error version: the card's artwork is by Naoyo Kimura, but this printing credits Toshinao Aoki, who illustrated the earlier Japanese ANA Articuno promo; the credit line reads "...inao Aoki" beside a small round Ultra PRO hologram sticker that covers its first letters. Card shows the black Promo star stamp, 70 HP, the Diamond Dust attack, #144 Pokédex line and ©1999–2000 Wizards copyright, with the number 22 at lower right. The card is ripped in half, the tear running across the lower artwork and attack text, and is held in a red-backed sleeve.
