Description
Sterling silver backs on four small oval brushes. Two are by Wm. B. Kerr & Co., each stamped with the fasces mark, STERLING and 4725-0; the other two are stamped STERLING. Two backs are engraved A.R.G. in a cartouche and two carry script monograms. Total weight 148 g for all four complete brushes, including bristles and other non-silver parts. Two brush backs have visible dents; tarnish and surface wear are present.
